Job Description Summary

The Associate Channel Marketing Manager- Remote (preferably East Coast or Central USA)is responsible for working with the Channel Marketing Manager to develop and execute the strategy to bring our brand to life at the point of purchase.  They work alongside the field sales team to identify opportunities and then assist and lead the effort to secure displays, signage, e-commerce requests, marketing campaigns, etc. in partnership with our distributors and retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with field sales and distributors
• Identify and prioritize opportunities at point of purchase
• Lead marketing campaigns for independent distributors while assisting with national distributors and retail partners
• Work with cross functional team to develop and execute channel marketing campaigns:
  • Ideate with field sales, distributor, and channel marketing manager on marketing strategies which connects our brand and our distributor’s sale and marketing strategies
  • Assist in the planning, creative development, and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Communicate and collaborate with advertising agencies, promotional & kitting facilities, display fabrication, etc.
• Conduct post marketing campaign analysis and report results.  Apply learning to future programs
• Ensure our distributors and retail partners have accurate product information on their websites including marketing copy, images, videos, etc.

• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
• Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to assist and lead, varying marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of current marketing channels including in-store signage, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, etc.
• Experience with e-commerce: data management, product detail pages, SEO copy, etc.
• Ability to assist program and creative development:  Writing creative briefs, evaluating creative, coordinating with vendors and customers
• Ability to create compelling presentations and present to customers, peers, and leadership
• Understanding of how to interpret and apply marketing metrics and incorporate into proposals and action plans
• Business acumen needed to better partner with our distributors, retail partners and our field sales team
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to influence and secure support from cross functional team members
• Intermediate to advanced PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

• Marketing or business degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in related field (Marketing, brand or product Management, Shopper Marketing etc) is required, though 5+ years of experience is preferred
• 5+ years of related experience preferred
• Strong preference for experience in building materials or related field

Total Rewards Package :

Compensation

• Base: $72,000 to $92,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
• Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
