Description:

Engineering Aide will provide support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks including troubleshooting and repairing the station, ITAs, and cabling. Candidates will be required to learn the Service Request system and properly document their repairs and troubleshooting. Eng Aide will need to know general fabrication processes such as soldering, crimping, connector pin replacement, assembly, fab verification, etc. Candidate needs to be able to read and understand schematics and redline them as necessary when making modifications. Produces engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). The candidate will be given general instructions but needs to be mostly self-sufficient and able to work on their own with minimal supervision. Minimum High School diploma, and equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/Para engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience. Performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data and equipment.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
