Scientific Director, PK

We are currently seeking a Scientific Director, Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (QP&PMx) to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Scientific Director within the QP&PMx group at ICON, you will play a key role in leading QP&PMx strategies and scientific oversight for our clinical research programs. You will drive the advancement of drug development by providing expert guidance on QP&PMx methodologies, ensuring rigorous scientific standards, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading the development and execution of PMx strategies for clinical trials and research projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate PK/PD data and insights into study designs and decision-making processes.
• Overseeing the analysis and interpretation of PK/PD data to inform drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Providing strategic direction to both clients and colleagues on QP&PMx methodologies, modeling, and simulation to enhance study outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and research partners, to advance QP&PMx science and innovation.

Your Profile:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as PMx, PK, pharmacology, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in pharmacokinetics within clinical research, with a strong focus on study design, data analysis, and regulatory interactions.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams to achieve scientific and strategic objectives.
• Expertise in PMx modeling and simulation, with proficiency in relevant software and analytical techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive scientific excellence across the organization.
