Description

Internet Brands is a leader in four core verticals (Automotive, Health, Legal, and Home/Travel) offering integrated digital solutions for businesses and consumers. Brands you know include CarsDirect, WebMD, Medscape, NOLO, and Premiere. Our Los Angeles–based Marketing team seeks a Senior Media Manager for the Legal vertical who can distill client goals into high-impact media strategies, lead a fast-paced team, and present complex ideas to C-level executives.

The Opportunity:
As the day-to-day leader for our high-value legal clients, you’ll own media planning, operations, team development, and client relationships. You’ll mentor planners, guide campaign execution, and deliver strategic insights across creative, marketing, and analytics teams; communicating clearly to senior stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute media strategies (audience selection, scheduling, creative direction) across digital channels, in partnership with Account Management and Marketing Execution
- Gather client objectives and translate them into seamless campaigns – aligning creative, landing pages, and paid teams
- Craft proposals and executive presentations; present performance results and optimizations directly to C-level and senior leaders
- Mentor and coach planners and junior staff, providing constructive feedback to drive professional growth and campaign excellence
- Track and analyze campaign performance against KPIs; recommend data-driven optimizations and innovative tactics
- Refine processes for planning, execution, and optimization; implement scalable, time-saving solutions
- Juggle multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and consistency

Qualifications:

- 5+ years in digital media planning, buying, and optimization, including team leadership and mentoring

- Strong analytical ability – turning data into actionable plans
- Excellent communication skills, with proven experience presenting complex strategies to C-level executives
- Demonstrated leadership: directing and aligning cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of digital platforms (display, native, SEM, social, video)
- Experience in competitive analysis, audience insights, and marketing strategy
- Proficiency with Excel and analytics tools; skilled at real-time optimizations
- Collaborative, transparent style, and a growth mindset
